Greetings Received From St Francis Bay, South Africa
One of the pleasures of being a Rotarian is that wherever you travel in the world, a quick call to the local Rotary Club secretary and you have a host of friends to meet up with and local fellowship, insight and support to depend upon.
Poynton Rotarian John Bissell is currently holidaying in St Francis Bay, South Africa, 90 km west of Port Elizabeth. John attended the St Francis Bay Rotary Club in January. President Tracy de Jager and the members sent their greetings to our President Malcolm and members together with their compliments on our website [web content manager bristles with pride!].
It was hot and sunny while John was writing his message to us. He said the pleasures of the St Francis Bay Golf Course and the Indian Ocean surf were competing with each other for his attention. I guess the golf course won because after pressing the send button he headed to the beach for a sundowner braii - a barbeque to you and me.
