The VBS Poynton Band
We are pleased to have had a longstanding relationship with the Vernon Building Society Poynton Band - one of the north-west's premiere brass bands. Regulars of the club's annual charity concerts will know them well as the band has supported this event every year ever since the concerts began.
The band delights its audiences throughout the year with original and entertaining concert programmes. A regular prize-winner at contests throughout the country, the band is in the Championship Section, which means it competes in the highest echeleons of the brass band world.
The band rehearses twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday, 8.15 pm - 10.15 pm) at its own band room on Park Lane, Poynton.
